Have You Ever Visited Cocoa Beach – Florida

Here’s a peak inside some of the best beaches Florida has to offer. This beach is on the East Coast, Atlantic water. On this side the water tends to not be as hot as the Gulf side water. And when it’s hot you want some cool(er) water. Not in August though but it’s cooler than the air temperature. There was a sailboat going by that day and sometimes you can see some Dolphins, so enjoy the views. This beach is also not to far from the Theme Parks in Orlando, just about an hour. It’s a great distraction from the crowded Theme Parks in the summer. Beautiful water and lots of whispering grasses.

A Day at Clearwater Beach, Florida

The Gulf side of Florida has so many beaches but one sticks out in my mind. Clearwater Beach has beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. It’s a great family getaway and I love even going in the evening when the sun is setting. The waves are calm and there are lots of activities in town too. There are some shells for those who love to collect them and lots of strolling to be done. It’s a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. You can also rent chairs/umbrellas if you forget to bring your own. There are plenty of places to eat and or go for a boat ride. Parking is a hassle so leave early to get a spot.  And don’t forget to go see Winter the Dolphin while your in Clearwater. Located not to far from the beach. She too cute.

Parents Love St. Pete Beach and So Do I

Parents Names St. Pete Beach Among Best in U.S.
Magazine Honors ‘Sunset Capital’ as One of America’s Top 10 Beach Towns

St. Pete/Clearwater, FL (May 6, 2013) – Parents magazine has named St. Pete Beach one of America’s Top 10 Best Beach Towns for 2013.

The perennial Gulf barrier island favorite ranked St. Pete Beach third among top beach destinations, adding to the St. Pete/Clearwater area’s already stellar list of accolades—including St. Pete Beach being ranked #1 by TripAdvisor, and USA Today naming Clearwater “Florida’s Best Beach Town.”

Parents magazine, which has a circulation of 2.2 million a month, sought out beaches with the perfect combination of sand and seas, choosing St. Pete Beach as a family vacation hotspot for its incredible mix of pristine beaches, dedication to beach safety and tons of fun both on the beach and inland. Also honored in the announcement was nearby Fort De Soto Park, noted for its many family-friendly amenities, including lifeguards.

Parents magazine recognition of St. Pete Beach and Fort De Soto as top beaches proves that our area is unsurpassed when it comes to quality and hospitality,” said DT Minich, Executive Director of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. “Families and beaches really are the two dominant keywords when marketing the destination, so this accolade is a great honor that resonates perfectly with both our brand and our visitors.”

Comparing the nation’s beaches using the Natural Resources Defense Council’s water quality reports, Parents focused on the health and cleanliness of the beach environments, narrowing down the top 100 beaches based on water quality alone. Parents‘ editors also considered the volume and quality of amenities—from the number of public restrooms and changing areas to beachside attractions—as well as the range of budget-friendly accommodations and nearby entertainment options for families.

I have been to St. Pete Beach a few times and loved it. It has beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. On one special afternoon my family and I got there to see the sunset and we were not disappointed. It was awesome and we really enjoyed the serenity of the day there. St. Pete Beach is in my TOP 2 Beaches and I’m very particular. Living here in Florida I have many choices to go to, so why do we go to St. Pete Beach  to enjoy the waves and build sandcastles. I want to thank VSPC for the info.
